Do you ask for the same directions over and over? Not only is that embarrassing, it is a waste of time for you and the person giving you directions.
Keep an active "directions" file at home or at the office. Every time you take down directions, put them in the file.
An alternative, if you have a personal electronic organizer, is to keep the directions linked to the address and phone number of the person or organization.
